The third quarter of 2023 has been an eventful period for 3D anime games on the Android platform in the Middle East. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 games in this category.

SAKURA School Simulator saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 14.6K in late June and peaking at 18.4K in mid-July. However, downloads gradually declined to approximately 8.2K by the end of September. The game maintained a consistent active user base, with numbers hovering between 80K and 72K throughout the quarter.

Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch exhibited strong weekly revenue trends, starting at $15.5K in late June and hitting a high of $36.4K by the end of September. Despite some dips, the game managed to sustain a healthy revenue stream. Weekly downloads showed a similar pattern, with an initial count of 11K in late June, dropping to about 5.2K in mid-September, and then rising to 8.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained robust, increasing from 99K to 106K over the same period.

ONE PIECE Bounty Rush experienced a significant boost in weekly revenue, peaking at around $55.4K in late August. Downloads also saw a rise, starting from 3.1K in late June and reaching a high of 12.8K in late August. Weekly active users followed an upward trend, growing from 55.9K to 73.5K during the quarter.

DRAGON BALL LEGENDS had a mixed quarter with revenue peaking at $34.4K in mid-July before stabilizing around the $5K to $9K range. Downloads showed a downward trend, from 6.5K in late June to about 2.3K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline, starting at 33K in late June and dropping to 27K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Tower of God: New World, a newer entrant, saw its revenue peak at $7K in late July before settling between $1.2K and $4.7K. Downloads started strong at 5.3K in late July but declined to around 252 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 14.8K in mid-August and then decreasing to about 4.3K by the end of the quarter.
